Een middag vol Farsi poëzie en traditioneel Iraanse muziek
Ashena (آشنا) has two meanings in Farsi: ‘friend’ and ‘familiar’. Both of these meanings play a central role in this Iranian poetry and music afternoon. It’s going to be an afternoon full of performances by poets and by musicians who perform traditional Iranian music. Come listen to Tania Akefi, who writes both Farsi and Dutch poems, and to Alireza Olia, who brings to life traditional Persian music with a variety of instruments: a celebration of Persian language and music with the goal to be ashena together.
